JEALOUS. I've never had *fresh* apples before. I had been buying Pink Ladies for a while because they were on sale (and totally delicious), but since they weren't on sale this week, I got some questionable Fujis... I think they were a little past their prime...
Last time I was pregnant, I was obsessed with apples. And they had to be Fuji's. I'd eat anywhere from 1 to 3 a day. I couldn't resist them! I didn't care that I had chronic heartburn from them, I just had to have them. Now, they're still my first choice of apple types if I have a wide variety to choose from. :)
I wish I could discern a difference between them. I think if I could taste them all side by side I'd catch on, but for now an apple is just either tart or sweet to me :).

Dip one in peanut butter for me! ;)
Always, ALWAYS go for the Fujis!
ReplyDeleteQuestionable Fujis are GREAT for applesauce :).
ReplyDeleteThat was my husband's recommendation, too. I like sweeter apples (golden delicious, especially) so he said I'd like Fujis. :)
