Green Bean Bumper Crop

I have a lot of them.

A lot of them.

I planted lots and have now frozen about as much as we can eat (and I have room for) until next year.

I do plan on giving quite a few away, but I'd like to try some new methods of eating and/or preserving them.

Any ideas? Recipes?

I definitely want to try this and will let y'all know in a few weeks how it goes.

I read a recipe for asparagus but figured it could used for just about any veggie--

Line cookie sheet with foil.
Lay out veggies on foil.
Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle fresh parmesan cheese over veggies and pop in the oven.
Eat like there's no tomorrow.
Yum. :)

We cook ours in a little bit of butter and a nice helping of garlic and bacon. Mmm... Mmm... Good.

Oh my gosh, me too!  We have so many beans!  I also have 9 siblings, so giving them away works out well for us.  :)  I like sauteed beans: get some olive oil really hot in a shallow pan, brown some onion, toss in chopped up beans, salt, pepper, and stir.  Yum!
