I feel your pain. My husband bought Totoro shirts for him, me, and all four girls including a onesie for the baby. Worn once. Two have permanent chocolate ice cream stains. I've washed them at least half a dozen times in vain. I'm woefully surrendering.
Even after it's been washed and dried? The heat set stain is what bothers me -- if I'd known about it before washing the first time I would've treated it, but I've yet to find a product that'll get out a already-been-washed-grease-stain. Would Zout do it?

ReplyDeleteDish soap my dear, and if that doesn't work I highly recommend Zout.
ReplyDeleteAwww... so sad!
ReplyDeleteIf it's colorfast, you could try shampoo or baking soda. My mom always used shampoo on her tablecloths.
Good luck!
Pain!

ReplyDeleteHm.. it's worth a try!
ReplyDeleteIt's gotten some heat set set grease stains out before for me, it's always worth a shot.
ReplyDeleteKnow anyone that sells Amway? Their prewash spray will remove anything, including grease stains, even if they have already been through the wash!
ReplyDeleteNo... never heard of it -- will look into it :). Thanks.
